Knouse Foods Cooperative is seeking flexible and skilled individuals to join our Plant Service Team. This role functions as a "fill-in" to cover absences across various departments. Team members will perform tasks such as operating equipment, handling materials, and assisting in different production processes. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, dependable, and capable of supporting multiple roles within the plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform duties in various departments, including but not limited to:
- Processor
- Forklift Operator
- Mix Room Attendant
- Utility Worker
- Machine Operator
- Heavy and Light Laborer
- Adapt to daily assignments based on labor shortages or production needs.
- Assist with on-the-job training for other team members.
- Collaborate with co-workers and supervisors to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Complete all required annual training.
- Document daily tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Proven adaptability to various tasks and departments.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Effective communication skills with leadership, team members, and other departments.
- Ability to retain knowledge and skills across multiple roles.
Language: English required.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, walking, and operating equipment.
- Occasional to frequent lifting (50 lbs or more), bending, climbing, and twisting.
- Ability to work with arms extended at shoulder level or above.
Schedule
- Flexibility to work all assigned shifts across departments.
- Overtime as required.
