Key Responsibilities
As a Pump Repair Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality repair and service work on a wide variety of pump types.
- Disassemble and inspect pumps for wear or damage
- Measure fits and tolerances to determine needed repairs
- Clean and prepare components for reassembly
- Specify and install replacement parts (e.g., bearings, seals)
- Reassemble pumps to manufacturer specs
- Conduct operational testing using mechanical/electrical test equipment
- Document all findings and create detailed repair reports
- Use manufacturer diagrams and documentation to identify required parts
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe
- Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
- Handle pumps ranging up to 200 horsepower in size

- Prior experience with pump or motor repair is highly preferred
