Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Degree: 2-4 year degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or similar
- Experience: 5 years in industrial electrical engineering or technician roles
- Programming:
- Proficient in Python and SQL for scripting and database integration
- Experience with Ignition SCADA system development, including screen layout and complex scripting
- Automation Systems:
- Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell programming (preferred)
- Knowledge of PLC programming, Operator Interfaces, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- Software:
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical for control system design
- Familiarity with industrial protocols like OPC-UA and database integration tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Solid understanding of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Advanced Ignition certification by Inductive Automation
- Experience with robotics or complex automation systems
- Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing and continuous improvement processes
