Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager:
- Has HR leadership experience to be a member of the management team and involved in the strategic positioning of company business and the development
- Support a corporate strategy that builds a DEI&B workforce
- Proactively assess the company's current and future state, continually evaluating company resources
- Maintain current HR knowledge and industry trends. Identifies trends that could impact the organization's objectives
- Develop an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes customer satisfaction, quality, continuous improvement, and high performance
- The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading the company's strategic and tactical human resources efforts, developing and supporting solid community relations, business partnerships, and overseeing department activities
- Lead Benefit Administration, Compensation, Workforce Planning, Recruitment, Onboarding, Training and Development, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Policy Development and Administration, Workers' Compensation, Risk Management and Safety, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and reporting requirements
- Perform other duties as company needs change and assigned by CEO
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred
- PHR / SHRM certified and completion of OHSA General Industry training,
- Manufacturing Human Resources experience
- 5 years of recruiting experience preferred
- SHRM-SCP certification or any other advanced education/ training in the HR field
- Excellent communication and mentorship experience to a team
- Prior management experience in talent acquisition
- Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings at the employee and executive level
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information effectively within all levels of the organization
- Prior track record of building systems and improving systems and policies to build HR's capacity to handle increasing scale and complexity
- Ability to ensure company compliance with all government and legislative standards and laws
- Working proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite ,and HRIS software experience is required
- Ability to design and execute talent acquisition strategies that enhance the organization's visibility/reputation
- Ability to analyze recruitment trends and partner with other leaders to identify talent forecasting, trends, and placement strategies
- Ability to partner with senior management and other departments to develop staffing plans, recruiting strategies, and talent development
Education & Experience of the Human Resources Manager:
- Four-year degree in Human Resources, or business-related field
- 5 or more years of related HR experience; with at least two-years of direct supervisory responsibilities
- PHR or SPHR / SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP a plus
- Prior experience in manufacturing
- Creative problem resolution and conflict management skills
- Possess strong communication skills and demonstrate the willingness to collaborate with all levels within the organization while building the company's reputation in the community
- Strategic thinker exhibiting intellectual curiosity, self-awareness, business acumen and thrives in a collaborative and teaming environment
- Knowledge of all local, state, and federal regulations that pertain to employment and safety responsibilities of the organization
- Ability to work independently, to make decisions, and to keep team members updated on progress as required
