Job Summary
The Accounting Manager will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing training and performance evaluations.
Ensure compliance with tax laws, GAAP, and other financial regulations.
Support strategic financial decisions and initiatives through data analysis and reporting.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
