About the Role: Assists the KUB Marketing Department with various marketing initiatives, helping to create awareness, drive engagement, and promote services. This is an excellent opportunity to develop marketing skills and to gain practical knowledge in a professional setting. Responsibilities include maintaining contact lists for direct mail and email outreach, organizing promotional events and initiatives, supporting the development of marketing materials, contributing to the creation of engaging written and design content, and proofreading content. This role will collaborate with other teams and departments such as sales, customer support, and graphic design to ensure consistent messaging and branding on all marketing and promotional materials.
Qualifications
Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work; exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Physical demands for a specific position within this classification may vary and / or exceed those demands described above.
Minimum Requirements
Must have and maintain a full-time student status at an accredited college or university pursuing an associates, Bachelor's, or graduate-level degree
Experience in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
Have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 7:00am and 5:00pm
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer skills and experience in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
Preferred Requirements
Pursuing an undergraduate or a graduate-level degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or other related field
Basic understanding of design principles, typography, and layout
A portfolio showcasing design work is preferred. Please include a link to your online portfolio or attach samples of your work with your application
Strong administrative and organization skills
Prior experience working in an office/administrative environment
