KO Business Solutions is proud to be working with a Florida-based, family-owned CPA firm specializing in accounting and advisory services for high-net-worth clients and their operating businesses. Our client handles accounting system set-up and migrations and all facets of the accounting lifecycle for their clients. With a focus on helping business owners succeed and thrive through greater financial awareness, they provide expertise that affords business and portfolio growth with greater ease. We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their remote team, who will help support their new client onboarding and monthly accounting responsibilities.
Location : Remote in the United States
Salary : $55,000-$75,000 Bonus
Schedule : Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm EST

Description
The Senior Accountant will lead the client onboarding process for new clients and contribute to the company’s exceptional accounting service delivery. In this important client-facing role, you will represent the business by coordinating efforts between the firm, client stakeholders, and their legacy accounting providers to ensure seamless transitions and exceptional ongoing accounting service provision. Some of your key responsibilities as Senior Accountant include but are not limited to :
- New Client Onboarding
- Coordinating and communicating with client stakeholders
- Creating individualized project plans for each incoming client
- Supporting the collection and assimilation of existing client data, like the chart of accounts, bank data, historical transactions, and journal entries
- Designing new or mapping existing chart of accounts to QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Fully onboarding clients to QBO and the firm, creating standard procedures, populating customer and vendor data, creating needed invoice and journal entry templates, and creating the financial reporting package
- Performing regular client management services including monthly check-ins and coordinating responses to new and existing issues
- Monthly Accounting Services
- Processing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll
- Importing & matching bank transactions leading to final bank reconciliations
- Adding journal entries for accruals, reversals, allocations, and other adjustments
- Creating financial statements that include relevant commentary for clients
- Any other duties as assigned
