What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor position at KOA CAMPGROUND?
Normal hours are from 9am-4pm, as business dictates, with some start times being 7am for bathhouse cleaning.
Candidates must be 18 with a valid driver's license. Sundays are mandatory.
INTRODUCTION TO ROLE
The Assistant Head Housekeeper is responsible for supervising the work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive accommodations at the campground. Assign duties, inspect work, investigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and take corrective action. May purchase housekeeping supplies and equipment, take periodic inventories, and train new employees.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

- Assigns workers their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness
- Performs cleaning duties in cases of emergency or staff shortage
- Examines building to determine the need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment, and makes recommendations to management
- Issues supplies and equipment to workers
- Makes recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation
- Maintain lost and found control point
- Oversee safe use of cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ensure the property is clean, orderly, well-manicured, and guest-ready always.
- Performs other duties as assigned
