The generalist must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and the business needs.
General Duties:
- Oversees internal compensation
- Monitors and updates plant headcount numbers for hourly and salary positions.
- Creates & conducts employee satisfaction survey questions and analyzes results to coordinate with management in enforcing new and innovative ideas to increase retention.
- Assists with Post-Hire interviews and enters data to analyze trends.
- Schedules employee communication meetings and present topics for discussion.
- Assists in organizing celebration events for employees.
- Coordinates all employee meals and appreciation events
- Responds to and communicates questions/concerns that employees may have along with ideas for improvement.
- Reviews and updates monthly KPI's
- Acts as an employee relations specialist
- Assists with wellness and community service programs.
- Coordinates and participants with plant supervision in disciplinary or termination proceedings involving employees.
- Keeps contact with employees regarding personnel matters
- Observes company rules and regulations concerning personal safety; wears personal safety equipment (PPE) as required.
- Observes Kaizen and 5S procedures.
