We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sourcing Coordinator to join our procurement team at OPD at our Katy office. The Sourcing Coordinator will be responsible for tracking and updating project management and engineering on the delivery status and lead time for orders. This role works closely with Document Control to ensure that the documentation required is provided to the client, per the contract.

Our Sourcing team closely partners with field construction and engineering to ensure that materials are ordered and delivered per the client and engineering specification. This role is critical to OPD achieving project milestones and mechanical completion.

What You Will Do
- Data entry into Construction Management System
- Track and provide projected delivery lead times from the vendor with Engineering and Project Management
- Review and audit engineering drawings for procurement related details: weights, list of materials, revision notes, and any miscellaneous materials.
- Partner with Document Control to store approved and issued drawings
- Proactively escalate delivery dates that will not meet the project schedule
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.
- Ability to deliver on competing priorities
- High accuracy data entry skills
- High attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization verbally and in writing
- Past experience working in Document Control
- Past experience tracking materials for a fabrication shop or construction project
- Familiar with raw materials used in construction, including structural steel
- Past experience creating and/or using PowerBI reports
