We are seeking a Logistics & Inventory Coordinator to manage the shipping, receiving, and inventory control of large capital equipment, raw materials, and components. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring efficient operations by standardizing undocumented processes, organizing all material storage areas, and accurately tracking all inventory movements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Shipping & Crating : Plan and coordinate the packaging and shipment of large capital equipment, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
- Receiving : Oversee the intake of raw materials and components, verifying accuracy and condition.
- Inventory Control : Perform inventory transactions, including transfers, adjustments, issues, and receiving. Follow the principle : If you touch it, track it.
- Cycle Counting : Plan and conduct regular inventory cycle counts to maintain accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Process Standardization : Develop and implement efficient processes for logistics and inventory management.
- Organization : Maintain structured and accessible storage in the parts crib and project bays.
- Project Planning : Support logistics planning for incoming and outgoing shipments, working cross-functionally with teams to meet project deadlines.
