Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of facilities to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Perform residential painting, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including reading and interpreting schematics.
- Utilize logic controllers and Ohmmeters for diagnosing electrical problems.
- Lead small teams on maintenance projects, demonstrating effective leadership skills.
- Weld and fabricate components as needed for repairs or improvements.
- Maintain mechanical knowledge to address various equipment malfunctions.
- Execute facilities maintenance tasks, including plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs.
- Document all maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong skills in residential painting, electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and mechanical knowledge.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and the use of an Ohmmeter is advantageous.
- Ability to weld and fabricate components as required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
- Strong leadership abilities to guide teams effectively on maintenance projects.
- Must be detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship.
