Koch Ag & Energy Solutions, LLC. (KAES) is seeking an Operations Data Lead to work with our Information Technology (IT) team at our Wichita, KS headquarters. As a member of the Information Technology team, you will need to thrive in a fast pace and innovative environment. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and IT delivery teams to identify data challenges, outline opportunities, gather requirements, develop, and deploy solutions, and facilitate adoption efforts. This role requires collaboration with multiple operations capabilities: Ops Excellence, Site Operations, Maintenance, Turnaround, and Reliability capabilities. A firm grasp on how those capabilities leverage data for decision making is essential. This role will be focused on enabling operational data and supporting transformation efforts directly tied to KAES’ – Asset Performance Management program.

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Grow, through influence, a data-centric mindset across the operations organization and mentor others on how they can leverage data to capture value
• Lead KAES’ enterprise data vision for critical Operational data domains
• Partner with the business and identify opportunities to streamline reliability analytics and decision making by integrating analytics solutions with key asset strategies
• Develop metrics that drive focus and prioritization of data domains targeted at improving/measuring asset health
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Business System Analysts, Developers, and Data Engineers to translate business requirements into deliverables that enable business partners to capture value in an Agile manner
• Collaborate with end-users leveraging data to support Operational Focus areas and identify opportunities to innovate, integrate, or consolidate their analysis and/or the business process.
• As needed, influence the design, testing and documentation of enterprise data models

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• 7 years of experience leading and driving data and transformation efforts
• Capable of initiating dialogues across the organization and conducting interviews to understand business processes and requirements
• Experience facilitating design sessions with end-users to build analytic solutions
• Development of an integrated Data Centric roadmap across multiple cross-functional domains within Operations
• Experience rapidly developing proof of concepts and testing new ideas, as well as scale these ideas into production ready solutions

What Will Put You Ahead

• Broad knowledge of the fertilizer/agricultural industry
• Experience with CMMS Data, Reliability Data Models, and developing Asset Performance Management metrics to measure asset health
• A proven track record of results and leading large enterprise programs to become a data centric organization
• Experience with Amazon Web Services products and tools, DynamoDB, Redshift and S3
• Experience with analytics tools and concepts such as Data warehouses, Data lakes, Tableau, Alteryx, Matillion, AtScale, Power BI, Excel
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies, processes, and tools
• Experience collaborating with a distributed team
