KODA is seeking a Project Manager with at least 5 years of experience to join our talented team of creatives.
The Project Architect/Project Manager will function as the primary point of contact with clients and be responsible for monitoring all aspects of their assigned projects. They are expected to lead and deliver the highest quality work while ensuring the client’s and company’s expectations are met. The ideal candidate must possess a commitment to design excellence and be able to translate the design process successfully into built work.
Essential Job Functions
- Communicate professionally and articulately with clients, consultants and staff
- Collaborate with the Principals to prepare design presentations for clients
- Track project compliance with zoning and building codes
- Review of engineer's drawings to be correctly coordinated in construction documents
- Manage project team
- Monitor project schedule to ensure on time deliverables
- Help foster learning by mentoring interns and junior staff, ensuring their professional development
Requirements
- 5 years post-grad experience, degree in Architecture or Design preferred
- Experience as lead Project Manager on several completed projects, from start to finish
- Familiarity with full-service construction documentation
- Zoning and building code review knowledge
- Software: Revit experience is a must, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail on all project related tasks, ability to problem solve and motivated to grow and learn
- Willingness to multitask and dive into details
- Comfort in providing Construction phase services on behalf of the firm, including Site visits, RFI reviews, Submittal reviews and review of requisitions for payment
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, ie. scheduling, minute taking and follow up
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities, leading and delivering high-quality work and adhering to deadlines
- Authorization to work in the United States
