Position Summary
This position is part of the Kodak Moments Regional Financial Planning & Analysis team reporting to the VP Finance, Kodak Moments. This position supports the US&C Sales and Services Business teams and the Colorado manufacturing facility by providing accurate, relevant and timely financial reporting and analysis necessary to drive key business decisions. He or she will also ensure compliance with corporate financial reporting policies and business unit requirements. The Sr. Financial Analyst will be expected to identify and implement financial and accounting solutions to support business needs which drive improved financial and business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the owner and coordinator of the US&C monthly operating review (MOR) process by providing required financial reports and related analysis including P&L and any other data to facilitate business decisions.
- Be the owner and coordinator of the US&C annual budget and multi-year strategic plan.
- Create monthly forecasts by working with the business team and management. This includes reporting and updating P&L estimates in the appropriate financial system if required. Requires an understanding of risks and opportunities in forecasts and working with business team (manufacturing, operations, sales, etc.) to drive appropriate countermeasures.
- Provide financial analysis and cost accounting support to the thermal media manufacturing facility including reporting, BOM generation and special project requests.
- Perform month end closing activities, including journal entries and Capital expenditure reporting.
- Calculate and maintain the Target Cost, Standard costs and UMC's needed for relevant business reporting for the Moments business.
- Lead capital project evaluation analysis, approval, monitoring and post purchase reviews.
- Perform customer, product and project level profitability analysis for the KM business and lead projects to drive business optimization.
- Perform price monitoring and volume, price, mix analysis.
- Provide detailed analytics on Inventory movements.
- Monitor service and local other costs to identify cost reduction opportunities including analysis and tracking of cost reduction and gap closure programs as needed.
- Actively contribute to cross organization and finance process simplification and improvement efforts.
