Digital Lizard – Fulfillment Picker Packer
Position Type: Full-Time
Standard Shift: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift*
Summary: This role is located at our Las Vegas, NV digital print facility. Picker Packers reference order details to package and prepare our customer orders before shipping.
What You'll Do:
- Follow detailed procedures to perform routine packing work.
- Pick and package a variety of printed materials or print related items that require a limited variety of packing procedures and techniques.
- Place, arrange, mark, seal, and tag items on pallets and in containers, bins, and bulk storage. Consolidate various items for shipment in accordance with standard operating instructions.
- Assemble finished products into boxes or containers for shipping.
- Count and sort various product items.
- Perform related tasks such as placing labels on packages, putting manuals into binders, and handling boxes for final product.
- Ensure accurate shipping information is attached, and packages are shipped according to specified schedule.
What We're Looking For:
- Skill in reading specifications and identifying the correct parts for fulfilling customer orders.
- Knowledge of routine packing procedures, techniques, equipment, and basic warehouse procedures.
- Skill in using a limited variety of packing procedures and techniques.
- Experience in forklift operating.
- Knowledge of shipping documents and ability to identify shipping requirements and procedures for specific items using manual or automated processes.
- Skill in completing manual and computerized forms and shipping documents regarding stock description, units of issue, weight, quantity, and labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing materials and equipment.
- Requires basic arithmetic and standard formulas to determine size and volume of packing containers and materials.
- Skill in assembling standard shipping boxes and packing contents securely.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
- Due to the nature of this position, a flexible schedule is required as hours may vary at times based on production needs.

Physical Requirements:
- Job requires the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50 to 70 pounds of force frequently.
- Safety shoes are required are required on the production floor.
- Moderate chemical exposure consisting of cleaning products and possible exposure to ink jet ink and wash, which is a hazardous substance. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and chemical protective gloves are required and will be provided when using ink jet products.
- Remain in stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Work in noisy environments.
- Majority of this job requires standing for approximately 90% of the day.
- Work in high and low temperatures
