ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

. Maintain paper roll inventory on presses.

. Order correct quantity and type of paper.

. Shift paper rolls and locate on press.

. Set up splicer for continuous feed.

. Participate in make – ready and hang plates.

. Fill ink fountains and checks conductivity.

. Performs initial check out.

. Act as second press operator where required.

. Enter required shop floor data into computer.

. May handle hazardous waste as part of daily job functions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

. Monitor/Assess performance of yourself and others to make improvements or take corrective actions

• Ability to perform basic math functions
• Must have the ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal
• Must be dependable, reliable and responsible in fulfilling obligations
• Must work well with others
• Must be flexible and open to change when needed
• Able to follow instructions and make decisions
• Must be proven self-starter to complete projects/work orders
• Must have some printing experience
• The ability to work 10 to 12 hour shifts

PERFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have some printing experience
• Minimum 1-year Press Room experience
• Ability to interpret and utilize various units of measure and their conversions
