What You Will Be Doing

• Prepare Accurate Estimates: Analyze project specifications, drawings, and requirements to develop comprehensive cost estimates for HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
• Material and Labor Analysis: Evaluate materials, equipment, and labor requirements to ensure accurate pricing and bid preparation.
• Vendor and Subcontractor Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure bid accuracy.
• Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, assess financial risks, and provide value engineering solutions to optimize project profitability.
• Proposal Development: Create detailed proposals, scope summaries, and cost breakdowns for clients, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to align estimates with project goals and timelines.

The Ideal Candidate

• 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Estimator or in a similar role in the mechanical construction industry.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems, including codes and regulations.
• Experience with estimation software such as Trimble AutoBid, QuoteSoft, or equivalent.
