MECHANICAL ESTIMATOR
What You Will Be Doing
- Prepare Accurate Estimates: Analyze project specifications, drawings, and requirements to develop comprehensive cost estimates for HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
- Material and Labor Analysis: Evaluate materials, equipment, and labor requirements to ensure accurate pricing and bid preparation.
- Vendor and Subcontractor Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure bid accuracy.
- Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, assess financial risks, and provide value engineering solutions to optimize project profitability.
- Proposal Development: Create detailed proposals, scope summaries, and cost breakdowns for clients, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to align estimates with project goals and timelines.
The Ideal Candidate
- 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Estimator or in a similar role in the mechanical construction industry.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems, including codes and regulations.
- Experience with estimation software such as Trimble AutoBid, QuoteSoft, or equivalent.

Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
