Position Overview
The Sales Manager is responsible for developing sales channels and driving growth for Modular Engineered Products in mission-critical and other markets.
Job Responsibilities :
- Identify, develop, and close sales opportunities by targeting major accounts within a defined geographic region or business segment.
- Build long-term relationships with potential customers and strategic partners.
- Achieve assigned sales, orders, and margin goals within the designated region(s) and business segment(s).
- Manage the sales process by collaborating with internal support teams to meet sales objectives in the assigned region(s) and business segment(s).
- Develop and implement an annual strategic business plan, including sales forecasting, market analysis for existing products, and recommendations for future products to meet customer needs.
- Work with Engineering and Applications teams to provide tailored solutions for customer opportunities.
- Lead bid preparation and serve as the proposal manager for key sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with Engineering and senior leadership to develop new products and capabilities based on market trends.
- Maintain strong relationships with key management within customer organizations.
- Regularly report progress and performance against goals to senior management.
- Oversee projects related to new account development.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
