Microsoft Administrator
Location : Hybrid role located in Indianapolis, Indiana (2-3 days in the office per week)
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Microsoft Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our Microsoft 365 environment, with an emphasis on SharePoint and Intune. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical expertise and excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities :
SharePoint and Virtual File Server Maintenance (20%)
Manage and maintain SharePoint sites and virtual file servers.
Ensure data integrity and security.
Perform regular backups and updates.
Physical PC Administration (5%)
Reset and configure PCs after recovery.
Provide support for hardware-related issues.
Microsoft 365 Administration (40%)
Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint, Intune, Entra, and Exchange Online.
Manage service accounts, permissions, and licenses.
Ensure seamless integration and functionality of M365 applications.
Active Directory / Entra Sync (20%)
Monitor and maintain Active Directory and Entra synchronization.
Create and manage app registrations.
Create and maintain SSO groups and SCIM configurations.
Application Packaging (5%)
Package and deploy applications via Intune.
Ensure compatibility and security of applications.
Other System Administration (10%)
Perform various system administration tasks as needed.
Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications :
Proven experience as a Microsoft Administrator or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Intune, Entra, and Exchange Online.
Experience with Active Directory and Entra synchronization.
Familiarity with application packaging and deployment.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
