We are seeking a qualified individual with a strong background in steel sales to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing pricing structures for both regular sales and large bids. Additionally, the role requires monitoring the steel market, managing inventory levels, sourcing materials, and creating and maintaining key relationships with customers, vendors, and steel mills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Support: Assist the team with determining pricing structures for customers, ensuring competitive and accurate pricing for everyday transactions as well as large bids.
- Market Monitoring: Continuously track steel market trends and adjust pricing strategies as necessary.
- Inventory Management: Oversee and manage steel inventory, ensuring the availability of products for daily needs and major projects.
- Material Sourcing: Assist in sourcing steel materials from reputable suppliers and vendors, ensuring cost-effective procurement.
- Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with current customers, attract new clients, and establish strong connections with vendors and steel mills.
- Order Assistance: Help with material ordering as required, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal pricing.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in steel sales or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of steel pricing, market trends, and inventory management.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle large-scale bids.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a solid understanding of customer needs.
