Construction Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborers to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in supporting various construction projects by performing essential tasks that contribute to the overall success of the job site. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and clean-up of job sites, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Load and unload materials and equipment as needed.
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople to complete tasks effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety on-site.
• Help with the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding, barricades, and temporary structures.
• Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.

Requirements

• Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety protocols.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced team members.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
• Reliable transportation to job sites is essential.
• Must be able to pass any required background checks or drug screenings as mandated by the company policies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Ability to Relocate:

• Port Orford, OR 97465: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
