Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Associates Degree is preferred

Product Knowledge
- Develop a general understanding of what products are manufactured by Koetter Woodworking and how they are used.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the Koetter Woodworking product binder, including products and pricing.
- Must be able to enter complex custom orders into Traverse
- Stock Orders
- Customer orders- including orders for new items
- Door Orders
- Develop a thorough understanding of the flow of the order entry process.
- Understand the reasoning behind an item ID
- Specified Lengths, Preferred Lengths, and Chopped Lengths
- Ship dates and ship zones
- Accounts with similar names
- Special order pricing, set-ups, and costs
- Develop a detailed understanding of internal information flow.
- Customer orders
- Paperwork flow from the time the order is placed, until it ships
- Contact people
- Develop an advanced understanding of Traverse as it pertains to the function of Order Entry

- Lumber trucks
- Freight trucks
- Verifying sales orders
- Printing packing lists
- Printing invoices
- Print & acknowledge backorders
- Running mail
- Postage meter
- Daily credits report
- Daily backorders report
- Cash deposits
- Petty cash
- Matching up Returned RMA’s to originals
- Review signed packing lists for any issues
- Scanning warehouse tickets and signed delivery ticket
- Organizing all orders and orders for daily shipments
Backups
- Order changes outside system
- Truck run layout
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
