What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Specialist position at Kohl Wholesale?
Kohl Wholesale is looking to hire a Business Development Specialist for the St. Louis metropolitan area. to focus on developing new key accounts and growing existing key accounts within the region, work closely with local Sales Representative in a team environment, lead sales efforts by directing, planning, organizing, solving problems, evaluating, and communicating, serve as a leader and role model for the Sales Representatives, solicit potential or existing customers by making direct sales calls, develop a key account list and key prospective account list, coordinate end-user calls and ride-withs for brokers and manufacturing representatives, utilize value added services provided by Kohl Wholesale to build relationships and grow business, support decisions by management and implement change as necessary, and be up to date on industry trends.
Requirements:
- Previous foodservice sales experience required.
- Must have strong organizational, interpersonal, and managerial skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and provide a certificate of insurance as proof of adequate insurance coverage, which meets Kohl Wholesale’s current standards.
- Must be organized and flexible and open to new ideas.
