Role Summary: As a Mortgage Loan Servicer II, you will play a key role in managing mortgage servicing operations, ensuring our members' needs are met promptly and in compliance with all regulatory standards. You'll oversee mortgage loan portfolios, address inquiries, support audits, and contribute to process improvements that enhance our service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide superior customer support for mortgage loan-related inquiries (e.g., payoffs, insurance, taxes).
- Efficiently manage mortgage servicing portfolios with precise documentation and records.
- Handle lien perfection and release processes to meet compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with the IT department on rate adjustments and system updates.
- Perform audits to ensure ongoing compliance with industry regulations.
- Conduct annual escrow analyses and manage disbursements accurately.
- Assist with General Ledger reconciliation to maintain accurate mortgage servicing records.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, mentoring team members and driving departmental growth.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and service quality.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 4-6 years of experience in mortgage servicing or processing, with a strong preference for servicing knowledge.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards and internal controls.
