Opportunity
Our team at Sports Core Health & Racquet Club offers a wide range of fitness activities, from swimming and tennis to group classes and personal training. Join our innovative team of well-being gurus and help our guests find a balanced, community-based approach to health.
Specific Responsibilities
- Facilitating tennis programs for members, hotel guests and the general public
- Assisting to develop activity planning calendars and execute creative programs that maximize court usage
- Assisting to schedule, promote and execute both sanctioned and non-sanctioned tournaments in accordance with WTA and USTA guidelines
- Maintaining accurate records and data base information related to all tennis activity – including lesson rosters and tournaments
- Following standard training programs for Racquet Assistants
- Possessing the skills to restring and regrip racquets and ensure quality service
Skills/Requirements
- Prior experience at a high caliber club or resort preferred
- Maintain at least one nationally recognized tennis certification (PTR, PTA)
- Must be a certified tennis professional; 1-2 years prior experience preferred.
- Candidate must possess a friendly demeanor and above average communication skills needed to interact effectively with members and the general public of all ages
