Crafting Excellence : Your Responsibilities Operate, inspect, troubleshoot and repair plant utility systems. Perform alloperations in accordance with the specified guidelines and instructions, whileexercising safety for oneself and others. Maintain allmajor utility equipment including Boilers, Air Compressors / Dryers, Chillers,Fans, Pumps, Wells, Cooling Towers and Fire Suppression equipment. Includesmaintenance of distribution systems for Steam, Condensate, Compressed Air,Chilled Water, Cooling Towers, Water Chemistry / Purification, Potable Water,Process Wastewater, Natural Gas, Propane, and Fire Systems. Must beknowledgeable in the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems including AirHandlers, Rooftop units, and Make-up air units including associated controls. Operate,inspect and maintain all Fire Protection Systems including but not limited to;sprinkler systems, fire suppression systems, fire extinguishers, fire hose,hydrants, and other firefighting equipment in accordance with specifiedguidelines and procedures including response to fire alarms. Must beknowledgeable in the application of Lubricants, Packing / Seals, Bearings,Couplings, Gear Reducers, Measurement equipment, Fasteners, and Rigging. Mustdemonstrate the ability to interpret and understand Mechanical and Electricalprints as well as P&ID diagrams. Proficientlyutilize a wide variety of equipment and tools. Be capableof using Computerized Maintenance Management software to create worknotifications, look-up and order parts, print work orders, and enter timeconfirmations. Maintaintechnical competence in advancing technology via frequent training courses,on-the-job training, and vendor schools. Workingconditions include heavy industrial environment, including, but not limited toexposure to heat, cold, dust, dirt, coolants, oils, noise, heights and confinedspaces. PhysicalRequirements : Bending, lifting, and pushing weights of up to 40 pounds or more. Must hold orbe able to acquire a valid Universal Refrigerant Handling Certificate within 18months. Required to be an active participant in the Kohler Company FireBrigade, responding to plant fires. The salary range for this position is $32.78 -$38.40.
