Our rapidly-growing law practice located in Mankato, Minnesota is seeking a full-time legal intake specialist to join our team! You’ll survey prospective clients and empathize with them on the details of their case, manage new client onboarding, help our lawyers book and manage their appointments, and help close the potential client.

Position Duties
- High-level listening skills to gain a thorough understanding of client’s needs.
- Set appointments for potential clients that meet our criteria to keep our lawyers’ schedules organized and grow our caseload
- Work with our marketing team to collaborate on outbound sales tactics and partnerships with other law firms in order to help bring in new cases
- Supervise new client onboarding and current client files through data entry and paperwork collection to ensure our cases are managed efficiently
- Evaluate prospective client inquiries and phone calls, analyzing their case fit and making sure they feel seen and heard
- Responsible for maintaining a robust pipeline of qualified prospects and reach out to prospects via calls and emails to qualify leads and set up appointments with firm lawyers.
- Build and maintain relationships with lawyers and paralegals at various other law firms to help cultivate our referral network.
- Maintain accurate call and email information and data via in-house CRM software.
- Run reports on a daily/weekly basis to report on lead generation, prospecting, and opportunities.
- Screen prospective clients by phone and email to determine which attorney best fits their needs in a timely/urgent manner.
- Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with staff, referral sources, public and private sector and the general public.
- Demonstrate a sense of self-confidence to help potential clients through this difficult time in their life.
- Strong written and oral communication skills to explain next steps and compose client profiles for attorneys.
- Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
- Multitasking ability to move quickly from one inquiry to another.
- Performing administrative support tasks as assigned.
- Support the team in answering phone calls when needed.
Requirements
- 2 years of sales experience is a must
- Amazing people skills
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Able to exercise a high level of confidentiality
- Associate degree or equivalent experience required, BA/BS preferred.
- Broad-based knowledge of the sales process, from lead generation to relationship management and the sales funnel
- A desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where success in the job equates to individual success
- Ability to think creatively and focus on opportunities for growth.
- Attention to detail is a must
Compensation is a base hourly pay between $20-25 with a production bonus of up to 100% of the salary.
