Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled family nurse practitioner to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions. You will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care to the underserved in New York’s Capital Region in a Christian environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct primary adult and pediatric health services, including gynecological care, to KPC patients.
- Order laboratory and radiology tests and refer patients to specialists when appropriate and called for.
- Enter patient information in the electronic health record accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Develop patient treatment goals and work with KPC personnel in the development of patient-centered care plans
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state health information privacy laws.
- Provides appropriate clinical information on patient visits to permit appropriate grant or insurance billing.
- Collaborate with and direct KPC behavioral health personnel in providing appropriate behavioral health care for KPC patients
- Participate in the off-hours on-call process as assigned (nights, weekends and holidays as needed)
- Adhere to departmental policies, procedures and objectives, ongoing quality improvement objectives and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
- Attend KPC staff and provider meetings
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nursing with a focus on family health from an accredited institution.
- Current board certification as a nurse practitioner by a recognized certifying body.
- Current license to practice in New York State, or the ability to obtain a license prior to the start of employment

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $117,075.00 - $123,321.00 per year
