STEM Mathematics Teacher
Maple Crest STEM Middle School
Grade Levels: 6-8
Positions begin with the 2024-2025 School Year
Responsibilities: Prepare students for changing world in which they live; provide diverse learning opportunities using scientific inquiry, technological & engineering design, mathematical analysis, and project/problem-based experiences with a Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) focus; receive ongoing training for STEM; participate in district and building level professional development; revise curriculum based upon STEM concepts; collaborate with other STEM teachers.
Certification and Qualifications: Valid Indiana teaching license, certification (6-8) in Mathematics preferred; demonstration of leadership; strong skills in interpersonal communication and collaboration; history of using differentiated instruction; cultural and international awareness; demonstrated ability to integrate technology in instruction.
