Grade Levels : 6-8
Positions begin with the 2024-2025 School Year
Responsibilities : Prepare students for changing world in which they live; provide diverse learning opportunities using scientific inquiry, technological & engineering design, mathematical analysis, and project / problem-based experiences with a Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) focus; receive ongoing training for STEM; participate in district and building level professional development; revise curriculum based upon STEM concepts; collaborate with other STEM teachers.
Certification and Qualifications : Valid Indiana teaching license with middle school certification (Grades 6-8) in Science required; demonstration of leadership; strong skills in interpersonal communication and collaboration; history of using differentiated strategies in instruction; demonstrated ability to integrate technology in instruction.
