Position Summary: The Quality Control Inspector is integral in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will perform rigorous inspections of bulk, components, and finished goods according to prescribed methods and scheduled to guarantee that they adhere to both internal specifications and regulatory requirements.
Do YOU Possess These Skills and Attributes? To excel as Quality Control Inspector, you should have:
- Experience in a quality control or inspection role, preferably in the manufacturing or cosmetics industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of quality control methodologies and tools.
- Ability to perform basic math skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed inspections of collected samples (customer, micro, retain, appearance, other) to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain detailed records of inspection results, test data, and any deviations from quality standards.
- Conduct all Quality inspections on finished product.
- Identify quality issues and defects in finished products and create non-conforming product (NCP) log.
- Operate within industry standards and regulations (GMPs, SOPs, TMs and JSAs)
- Identify and investigate quality issues, non-conformities, and defects.
- Participate in the development and refinement of quality control procedures and protocols.
- Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Be prepared to work overtime and on Saturdays as needed to meet production demands and ensure quality control processes are maintained.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Assurance, Engineering) is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform manual tasks.
- Proficiency in using measurement instruments and testing equipment.
- Experience in manufacturing and production operations.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and quality control software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
