Position Summary: The Pre-Weigh Technician Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of Pre-Weigh Technicians to ensure the accurate and efficient preparation of raw materials for production. This role requires strong leadership, a focus on safety, adherence to quality standards, and ensuring that production schedules are met. The Supervisor will also assist in training, development, and performance management of team members, ensuring compliance with all operational and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:
· Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and train a team of Pre-Weigh Technicians to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and SOPs.
· Production Coordination: Manage the pre-weighing process to ensure timely and accurate preparation of raw materials for production. Adjust workflows as necessary to meet production deadlines.
· Quality Assurance: Ensure materials are measured and recorded accurately, following batch records and SOPs. Perform visual inspections and ensure that any deviations are reported and resolved promptly.
· Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and report any shortages or discrepancies. Work with inventory teams to prevent stockouts and maintain consistent material flow.
· Safety Oversight: Enforce safety procedures, conduct regular safety audits, and ensure compliance with all safety protocols. Lead safety training and address any safety concerns within the team.
· Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement. Implement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
· Documentation & Reporting: Oversee the accurate documentation of materials used, including lot numbers, expiration dates, and other key data points. Maintain tank logs, batch retains, and micro-sampling records.
· Equipment Maintenance & Cleanliness: Ensure the proper maintenance and cleanliness of pre-weigh equipment and work areas, preventing contamination and ensuring compliance with cleanliness standards.
· Collaboration: Work closely with production and other departments to ensure the smooth flow of materials and timely completion of production tasks.
Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in chemical handling or a related field is a plus.
· Minimum of 3 Experience in Manufacturing in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in pre-weigh or materials handling.
· Proven experience in managing and leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
· Knowledge of safety standards, quality control, and operational procedures.
· Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required.
· Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
