Job purpose
As an HR & Payroll/Benefits Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting Global HR Director on key HR initiatives and independently manage KTG staff payroll and benefits programs with enthusiasm and precision.
Your key responsibilities will include preparing and processing semi-monthly payroll in ADP and benefits, crafting insightful reports, and providing day to day support across several People Initiatives at Kolon TissueGene. You are the cornerstone ensuring exceptional service and support to our employees.

Your strong organizational abilities and time management will help you stay on top of tasks and deadlines. Duties and responsibilities
- Manage semi-monthly payroll and benefits programs; onboarding
- Support in annual processes such as open enrollment, mid-year and annual performance conversations, goal setting, compensation changes
- Support talent attraction efforts through social media engagement, enhancing employer brand and strategic recruitment
- Support in building, evaluating, utilizing HR ecosystem to generate actionable management insights
- Own and enhance new employee orientation and onboarding experience to ensure seamless integration of new talent
- Support day to day in engaging talent at workplace and driving engagement, capability building and talent management initiatives
- Resolve employee queries and technical issues related to HR systems; escalate issues to HR Director as needed.
- Improve and enhance availability and accuracy of people data across HR systems (ADP Workforce Now, LinkedIn Learning, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Ascensus (401K), Health Insurance platforms.....etc)
- Handle employee data reporting and management, including ADP systems.
- Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Holds at least an associate’s degree in HR or related field.
- If international applicant, PHR/ SPHR certification or education in HR or related field in the US is advantageous.
- ADP Hands on experience: Possesses 2-3 years of experience in payroll and benefits on ADP Workforce Now
- Other HR areas: Exposure to other areas of HR such as recruitment, performance management, employee engagement advantageous
- Reporting/ Analytics: Must have at least 3-year of experience with People data analysis or reporting
- Tools: Demonstrates expert level proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Teams.
- Knowledge: Knowledgeable in employee payroll, benefits policies, regulatory legislation (e.g., FLSA, FMLA), and group benefit plans.
- Industry familiarity: Previous experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical sectors or is advantageous.
