The team supporting our Komline-Harn brand of products has been delivering the highest quality membrane treatment system for our clients over the past 50 years. Whether it’s a full design build, membrane plant retrofit, or uniquely required service, through our dedication we consistently deliver on expectations.
The Technical Sales individual is a self-motivated, creative, and dynamic individual with a technical aptitude in member equipment technologies. As they grow their membrane treatment business, they’ focus on evaluating the needs and opportunities of the market. The projects supported are located throughout the United States and some travel will be required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify, manage, and convert sales opportunities in the municipal and industrial markets
- Leverage existing knowledge about membrane treatment to pursue and develop project leads
- Prepare estimates for membrane project bids
- Interface with engineering and support team to support preparation of bid packages
- Travel to jobsites to support start-up, testing, and operator training at membrane plants
- Develop in-depth understanding and knowledge of the market, market dynamics, and competitive positioning to effectively manage the customer base and obtain orders
- Communicate regularly with our sales representatives, engineering firms, and end users
- Develop in conjunction with the Marketing Department, content for sales tools and presentations that effectively communicate our value proposition to customers
- Identify trade shows, events, seminars and speaking opportunities in the market
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent combination of a related discipline and experience
- Strong team player with the ability to work equally well across a cross-functional team
- Ability to adapt to CRM and Salesforce for tracking and supporting sales efforts
- Excels under pressure in time sensitive environments with multiple priorities
- An effective verbal and written communicator
- Ability to travel approximately 75%
