We are looking for a highly organized and tech-savvy Culinary Administrator to support our culinary team. This role requires mastery of various computer applications, software, and design tools, including Google Suite and Adobe. The Culinary Administrator will be responsible for administrative tasks, inventory management, label creation, and ensuring efficient communication within the team.

Compensation
Pay range is $24.00-$25.00 per hour depending on skill level, experience and/or education. Compensation offered is also subject to local wage and hour laws.

Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the culinary team, including scheduling meetings, calendar management, managing correspondence, and maintaining organized documentation.
- Label Creation: Design and print labels for inventory, menu items, and food storage, ensuring clarity and organization in the kitchen.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inputting manufacturing orders into Inflow, monitoring inventory levels, placing orders for supplies, and conducting regular audits to ensure stock accuracy.
- Menu Coordination: Be the technological hands of the chefs - support Executive Chefs to file updates for recipes, ordering sheets, new menus, menu descriptions and recipe files
- Reporting: Generate reports on unit conversions from recipes, inventory usage, food costs, and operational efficiency to support the culinary team’s decision-making processes.
- Event Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating culinary events and special projects, managing logistical details to ensure successful execution.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all culinary operations comply with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Communication: Coordinate with Front of House and Back of House to verify timeline and execution.
- Summary: Responsible for clerical functions and administrative support of food service programs.
- Organization: Maintain confidential personnel files. Maintain and update regularly the filing system as required for correspondence, policies, standards, regulations, contact information and various applications.
- Compliance: Attend in-service and/or safety meetings as required.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in culinary arts, hospitality management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a culinary or administrative role, ideally within a restaurant, catering, or hospitality environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and inventory management software; ability to create visually appealing labels.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions.
