We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Project Manager to join our team and support our major national accounts with operational and sales activities. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for retaining, growing, and adding value to our key accounts, ensuring the customer's performance goals and account management objectives are met or exceeded.
Daily Customer Communication & Equipment Performance: You will be the main point of contact with customers for operational and project updates, contract repairs, down units, entrapments, inspections, quoted repairs, modernization, and new equipment opportunities. You will address all aspects of customer concerns and provide timely and effective solutions.
Contract Management: You will ensure compliance with scope, terms, and conditions of contracts, contract riders, equipment, and locations within contracts. You will also manage procurement partnerships and develop strategies to meet business objectives.
Sales: You will use solution-selling techniques to identify new sales opportunities with customers and handle all aspects of the sales process, including negotiating, tendering, proposal presentations, and closing deals.
Reporting & Presenting Account Performance: You will prepare account performance reports by analyzing data and communicating with branches to share with customers and identify needed actions.
Relationship Management: You will establish and build relationships with C-suite level leadership and other stakeholders within the organization. You will leverage these relationships to drive business growth and revenue expansion.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related industry
- In lieu of degree, 7-10 years senior account management or sales management experience
- The ideal background will bring understanding of sales and operations of all business lines, financial acumen, and collaboration skills ranging from written to verbal
- General management experience is desirable
