JOB OVERVIEW
The Modernization Transformation Lead is responsible for spearheading the development of our AME Modernization business. This role focuses on enhancing installation and process development actions within the supply chain to drive improved modernization installation efficiencies. The position collaborates closely with the SC MOD transformation team to enhance engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, and delivery of modernization solutions and processes. The primary objectives are to reduce modernization lead times (OB – 5z) by 50% and achieve a $27 million annual cost reduction through improvements in engineering, sourcing, material management, logistics, and productivity.
Collaborate with Installation Innovation and Enablement team to leverage best practices from new equipment installation efficiency actions and industrialize our modernization process and optimize product design for installation ability. Collaborate with Business Development to ensure optimal design and offering of product in terms of features, benefits and installed cost relative to market, and design aligned with installation efficiency objectives. Ensures global alignment with local requirements and support are included in initiatives. Collaborates and creates plans, processes, and programs to achieve specific modernization installation objectives and works collaboratively with Regional Installation Directors to ensure implementation and adoption.
JOB DUTIES :
Creates and drives the modernization installation efficiency strategy across the Americas. Ensuring significant cost reductions achieved from efficiency actions while ensuring alignment with global and local requirements.
Collaborate with Regional Installation Directors to ensure implementation and adoption of modernization installation objectives
Collaborate with the Installation Innovation and Enablement team to leverage best practices from new equipment installation efficiency actions, industrialize the modernization process, and optimize product design for installation ability.
Work with Mod Business Development leaders to ensure optimal product design and offering in terms of features, benefits, and installed cost relative to the market, aligned with installation efficiency objectives.
Ensure global alignment with local requirements and support in initiatives.
HIRING REQUIREMENTS
This role requires a minimum of a 4-year college degree (preferably in a technical or engineering discipline) or 10 years equivalent work experience. Additionally, y ou will bring 10 years of progressive leadership experience preferably with construction supervision and/or experience or new and modernization products. Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities include the following:
Ability to lead cross-functionally through influencing without authority.
Strong and effective communication skills with all levels of employees, customers, contractors etc., both oral and written.
Demonstrated ability to lead and sponsor change.
Ability to conduct financial analysis for sound business decision-making.
Ability to develop and foster teamwork.
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks through effective organization and time management.
Comprehensive understanding of installation processes, procedures, policies, and contracts/product offerings.
Familiarity with competitor product offerings and practices.
General accounting and financial management principles.
Sound working knowledge of property management and the construction industry.
Knowledge of laws and regulations regarding safety and environmental governmental regulations.
Understanding of labor agreements and labor relations.
The hiring range for this role is $ 188,000.00 to $259,000.00 USD. The compensation package offered will depend on the candidate’s ability to meet the requirements of the role and a range of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to their skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.
