POSITION TITLE: PROCESS ENGINEER
SUMMARY
The Process Engineer will be responsible for driving continuous improvements throughout the manufacturing operations by leading a variety of projects in a diverse with an emphasis on developing best practices, using Lean/Six Sigma process engineering tools. Driving improved efficiency of manufacturing operations to reduce costs.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a Lean Leader, to drive continuous improvement across the Plant.
- Lead the development and improvement of manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Capture and drive implementation of lessons learned
- Manufacturing point of contact for the NCR process
- Regular Lean KPI Tracking Analysis & Postings, to measure productivity performance across the Factory.
- Lead Kaizen events and put in place continuous improvement actions.
- Drive Weekly Scrum Board activities to completion and update the board.
- Develop cross departmental processes, implement best practices.
- Maintain 5S program. Perform 5S audits, and drive 5S action items to completion.
- Provide technical assistance and training for Factory personnel as needed.
- Coordinate best practices with global partners and share improvement ideas together.
- Maintain Work Instruction documentation and update as required as improvements are implemented.
- Able to give a business case (ROI) for items that need to be purchased as required for improvements.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline required.
- 3 years in Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Lean/Six Sigma, or related role.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, time management, and teamwork skills as well as superior attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
- Strong technical skills in manufacturing, process documentation & development, change management, and project management.
Some domestic and international travel may be required.
