POSITION TITLE: SITE SERVICE PLANNER/Trainer
REPORTS TO: Site Manager
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planned-based service execution:
- Assist Area Service Supervisor with planned activities, e.g., planned repairs.
- Generate daily maintenance plans for customer’s equipment using the customers Team System.
- Manage all inspection documentation for all customer’s cranes in the Hot Strip Area at AK Steel.
- Assist technicians with identification of required repair parts.
- Process related paperwork upon completion of work assignments and open/close out all work orders in the customers Team System.
- Review and manage customers backlog of repairs and auto gens using the customers Teams System.
- Assist Area Service Supervisor in arranging for technical guidance to customers and technicians and facilitate contact with appropriate resources to support the need.
- Assist Area Service Supervisor in resolving any customer complaints or needs.
- Provide leadership in safe work practices by participating and teaching monthly safety meetings.
- Maintain and provide all safety-related documentation, for all the customer’s cranes at AK Steel.
- Monitor and help the Area Service Supervisor coordinate and plan the maintenance of the customer’s equipment and cranes to ensure they are in proper condition and good working order.
- Make self-present on job site and assist with trouble shooting. Audit job site for safety and housekeeping.
- Train back-up for Cleveland Cliffs Teams systems, Teach Crane Operator course, Telehandler, MEWP, Forklift operator renewals, Assist as Site safety in support when primary safety is off site.
- Help with injury and safety investigations.
- Assist in EMERGENCY BREAKDOWNS.
- Teach and train north Hand Scarf when needed. Mentor new and junior employees.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree preferred, prior equivalent experience and training will be considered.
EXPERIENCE: Prior supervisory experience with maintenance and Cleveland Cliffs teams training.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must be customer-oriented, have well-developed interpersonal, communication, organizational and PC skills and be able to prioritize tasks. Comfortable in an industrial environment. Willing to take on new and challenging tasks. Willingness to work overtime or additional hours as needed.
