Koniag Emerging Technologies LLC is seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Police Advisor Level V to provide senior-level subject matter expertise and management expertise in the field of law enforcement and public safety. This advanced role requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in international relations, law enforcement, public policy, or a related field (or ten years of professional law enforcement experience as a substitute), as well as a minimum of eighteen years of experience with U.S. law enforcement or military, including experience in briefing in English. Candidates must have three years of experience working overseas in an Embassy environment and three years of specialized experience in areas such as intelligence, firearms, gangs, kidnapping, drugs, or internal affairs.

The Police Advisor Level V will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Provide senior-level subject matter expertise in program planning, designing, technical assistance, and implementation related to law enforcement and public safety initiatives.
- Provide senior-level management expertise in specialized fields of expertise, as well as functional and technical expertise to lead complex, large projects to deliver client solutions and/or manage operations of multiple projects.
- Leverage high-level expertise and ability to solve complex and unusual managerial issues while exercising independent judgment.
- Assist senior leadership in the development of program strategies and implementation related to law enforcement and public safety initiatives.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure within short time constraints and during times of rapidly developing events.
- Utilize extensive experience working in international or peacekeeping missions and/or related international development activities.
- Other duties as assigned
Education:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in international relations, law enforcement, public policy, or a related field (or ten years of professional law enforcement experience as a substitute).
- A minimum of eighteen years of experience with U.S. law enforcement or military, including experience in briefing in English.
- Three years of experience working overseas in an Embassy environment.
- Three years of specialized experience depending on the position (e.g., intelligence, firearms, gangs, kidnapping, drugs, internal affairs).
- Knowledge of and skill in the correct usage of English grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and style.
- For a position in the U.S., must be a U.S. Citizen or legal U.S. resident; for a position outside the U.S., any citizenship (U.S., Third Country National (TCN), and Local National (LN)) is allowable.
- The Police Advisor Level V plays a crucial role in providing senior-level subject matter expertise and management expertise in the field of law enforcement and public safety.
- The successful candidate should have an extensive background in law enforcement or military operations, with substantial experience working in international or peacekeeping missions and related international development activities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English are essential for success in this role, along with relevant overseas experience in an Embassy environment and specialized expertise in areas such as intelligence, firearms, gangs, kidnapping, drugs, or internal affairs.
- This advanced level position requires a minimum of eighteen years of experience, making it a highly knowledgeable and strategic role within the organization.
