Overview :
Konica Minolta is looking for a GBS Project Manager to join the team on a full time basis. The incumbent will provide project management with an emphasis on analytics to Konica Minolta external customer and internal projects. The selected individual will be expected to work in a collaborative team environment and manage complex and high profile projects in large global enterprise environments. The Global Enterprise Project Manager understands and applies professional PMI principles, practices, and techniques to lead external and internal customer project teams. Project engagement requirements will include : customer pre-sale activities; including data analysis and preparation of recommendations based on statistical analysis; creation and management of project plans, schedules and dashboards; project tracking of milestones and deliverables and continuously monitoring risks to ensure success.
Responsibilities :
Work with the project team to establish realistic goals and implement action plans for achieving set objectives
Collaborate, guide and direct project team members to ensure compliance with set project standards, procedures and guidelines
Ensure availability of standard documentation required to complete a project successfully
Evaluate the progress of a project to detect risk and options for risk mitigation
Collaborate and develop internal communication strategies useful in ensuring communication between various stakeholders, departments of an organization
Participate in educational programs to update job knowledge and expand personal network
Motivate team members to meet project goals by effectively carrying out their responsibilities
Offer solutions options to achieve set targets and satisfying client requirements
Become a valued team contributor in the areas of project cycle, including its planning, communication, risk assessment and resources
Qualifications :
Education & Training :
o Bachelors Degree in project management or related discipline
o Project Management Certification (Preferred) (PMI PMP / Prince2 Practitioner PMP and / or Agile and / or Six Sigma certification)
Analytical skills : the capability to analyze large sets of date and translate data into information for decision making purposes
Problem-solving skills : apply project management principles and methodologies in seeking solutions to project problems
5 years of experience in project management and data analysis are essential to the position
5 years of experience in technology delivery within enterprise client environments
Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills; the ability to work well with people from different disciplines and cultures; competence in clear concise, and tactful communication with senior management, clients, peers and team members
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding project goals and objectives
Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Strong writing, decision making, communication and meeting facilitation skills
Knowledge of and competency in project management processes including planning, resource allocation, risk management, time management, financial management, quality management, monitoring, and reporting, documenting, and record keeping
Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change
