What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Services Representative position at Konica Minolta Business Solutions, U.S.A., Inc.?
The Talent Acquisition Operations team is seeking a dedicated HR Services Representative to join our dynamic team. This role will be based at our corporate headquarters in Ramsey, New Jersey, with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.
Responsibilities
● Processes various paper and electronic forms related to documenting human resources activities such as new-hire onboarding, change-of-status, performance evaluations, benefits, termination of employment, etc.
● Inputs employee personal data into human resources information/computer system (HRIS) database and/or documents activities as requested
● Understands and uses appropriate discretion on all confidential and private information, as required by KM Policies and the law
● Identifies issues, challenges, and problems proactively and escalates them appropriately to management
● Uses basic problem solving skills to identify root cause of issues, challenges, and problems and develops suggestions on how to solve them
● Provides direct support to company employees, other HR groups and company management as part of a centralized function to handle a variety of HR-related transactions and tasks as needed
● Receives and responds to requests concerning HR policies, procedures, and programs utilizing strong verbal and written communication skills when required
● Appropriately routes requests from employees to centers of excellence for additional information, when necessary
● Responds to employee and manager inquiries via online resources and/or telephone as needed
Qualifications
● Strong attention to detail and highly organized
● Ability to learn Konica Minolta Human Resources knowledge - policies, procedures, programs
● Interpersonal and communication skills that drive positive, meaningful, and trusted interactions with employees
● Use and ability to adapt to new functionality for common enterprise systems (ERP, ATS, CRM, HRIS, etc.)
● Some experience with Microsoft Excel highly preferred
● Position is in Ramsey, NJ
● 7 Hours per day sitting, talking and hearing
