Designer / Drafter
Remote | Direct-hire | $50,000-$70,000 | 100% Remote
Konik is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented midlevel Structural Designer / Drafter with Revit experience to join our client’s engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a background in designing large industrial and commercial structures such as grain elevators, flour mills, water tanks, and commercial buildings. This position involves collaborating closely with engineers, project managers, and other designers to develop high-quality structural designs and detailed drawings.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop structural designs and detailed drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Create and modify construction documents, including structural layouts, sections, and details.
- Interpret architectural and engineering sketches, blueprints, and specifications.
- Ensure design accuracy and compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to address design challenges and incorporate changes.
- Conduct field visits as needed to gather measurements, verify as-built conditions, and ensure design feasibility.
- Maintain project files and manage drawing revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
