Job Title : Air Export Agent
Department : Air Export – Los Angeles Branch
Status : Full-Time
Reports To : Air Export Supervisor
Pay Range : $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 15 PM (Must be flexible to work overtime and occasional Saturdays)
Location : 100% Onsite in Los Angeles, CA
Physical Requirement : Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
Position Overview
The Air Export Agent is responsible for managing the export process for assigned accounts, ensuring shipments are accurately documented, coordinated, and delivered in compliance with regulations and customer requirements. This role involves close collaboration with customs brokers, warehouse staff, shipping companies, and clients to facilitate domestic and international transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Export Operations
- Manage all aspects of assigned export accounts, ensuring compliance with company procedures and export regulations.
- Utilize software and programs essential to export operations (Cargowise software experience is a plus).
- Book flights and coordinate surface transportation to meet customer ETA requirements.
- Process export documentation (e.g., B / L, AWB) accurately and within strict timelines.
- Maintain accurate shipment notes and ensure data entry, classification, and valuation are 100% accurate.
- Stay current with export regulations to ensure compliance.
