Classroom Support Specialist, Morning Shift

Job Summary

Kool Kidz Daycare Center is looking for a dynamic new member to join our team! As a Floater, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity in the absence of the regular classroom teachers and assist in varying capacities to understand all facets of daycare. You may assist with instruction, encouraging student progress, manage the learning environment, promoting safety and adhering to state regulations.

Duties

• Implement lesson left by the absent teacher
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
• Assist students with assignments and reinforce learning concepts
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student development
• Follow school policies and procedures to ensure student safety and well-being
• Assist with bussing

Experience

• Demonstrated experience in behavior and classroom management
• Proficiency in basic tutoring and working with students of various ages
• Knowledge of early childhood education
• Desire a career in early childhood development

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
