THE POSITION: The individual in this position reviews construction plans and performs field inspections ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, ordinances and policies.
- $28.23 to $32.21 per hour depending on experience
- ICC Residential Building Inspector certifications sponsored by the employer

DO YOU QUALIFY?
- Do you have a Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field
- OR do you have a high school diploma/GED and an associate’s degree in building Inspection, engineering, architectural drafting
- OR related field and a minimum of 2 years related experience?
- Do you possess or have the ability to possess related ICC Residential Building Inspector certifications?
- Do you have a working knowledge of:
- building, mechanical, energy, and fire codes
- state housing laws, local zoning ordinances
- health and safety codes
- construction plans, materials, methods and safety standards
- Do you possess or have the ability to possess a driver’s license and be insurable?
- Flexibility to work both in the office and in the field
- Perform inspections, review plans, record results and calculate project requirements as well as communicate with all customers and professionals involved in helping to facilitate the permit and inspection process
