Join our team as a key member in handling various vehicle-related services while ensuring accuracy and compliance with Idaho State laws. Some of what this position does:
•Customer Service: Assist customers in person, by phone, email, and mail, providing exceptional service.
•Vehicle Titling & Registration: Process title transfers (private party, out-of-state, and dealer), issue license plates, and conduct VIN inspections.
•Knowledge of Idaho Law: Learn and apply vehicle-related regulations to ensure full compliance.
•Document Verification: Review and verify titling documents for accuracy and completeness.
•Diverse Tasks: Handle specialized titles for items like mobile homes, salvage vehicles, and conditional titles.
•Record Maintenance: Update and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
•Collaboration: Work with banks, loan agencies, dealerships, and DMV offices to resolve customer issues.
•Money Handling: Manage cash, balance tills, and handle daily transactions.
•Ongoing Training: Keep up with updates from the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) to implement necessary changes.
This role is essential for ensuring smooth and compliant vehicle title and registration processes, with a focus on customer service and accuracy.
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of twelve months’ office experience and/or customer service.
Experience in vehicle titling and registration is preferred but not required.
A positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a variety of tasks.
Ability to handle escalated situations with professionalism and tact.
A willingness to learn Idaho’s vehicle titling and registration laws.
