What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Tech 2 position at Koozie Group?
Our manufacturing team is responsible for producing high-quality swag and promotional products for our clients. We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing maintenance, with experience working on bindery and print equipment. They will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment, performing scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance, and designing and building new equipment or modifying existing equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair physical plant and equipment problems
- Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and the physical plant
- Design and build new equipment or modify existing equipment
- Supply necessary data for department information system
- Operate power equipment as needed
- Perform machine set-up
- Store and maintain department tools, supplies, equipment, parts inventory, and manuals
The successful candidate will also have knowledge of electrical safety protocols, including NFPA 70e, and be able to work safely in a fast-paced environment. They will be required to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 45 pounds, and perform repetitive motion tasks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- One year of experience in bindery or print equipment maintenance
