Key Responsibilities:
- In-Home Coaching: Assist clients in implementing recovery strategies within their home, helping them build structure and navigate daily life over 30-day assignments.
- Emotional Support: Offer in-the-moment emotional support, helping clients process difficult emotions and triggers associated with their recovery.
- Trigger Management: Guide clients in identifying and managing triggers in real time, supporting them in engaging positively with life.
- Personal Growth: Help clients create balanced schedules, pursue educational or work opportunities, develop healthy social connections, and build a strong recovery foundation.
- Family Engagement: Facilitate communication with families to support relationship repair and strengthening during the recovery process.
- Activity Support: Accompany clients to appointments, meetings, and recreational activities, helping them stay active in their recovery journey.
Required Experience:
- **At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Eating disorder treatment within residential or in-home settings.
- **Minimum 3 years of experience working in Child & Family counseling, with a focus on therapeutic, family-centered approaches.
- Proven ability to work with clients on managing real-time triggers, navigating emotional distress, and building lasting recovery strategies.
- Experience in supporting clients’ personal growth by helping them set goals, establish structure, and reconnect with education or work opportunities.
- Experience working with families in therapeutic settings, with a focus on improving communication and relationships during the recovery process.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field (required for some coaching roles).
- Registered Dietician with experience in eating disorder recovery (preferred).
- Previous background in therapeutic or coaching settings offering both emotional support and practical life skills coaching.
